We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Outside Sales Representative with a proven track record in commercial sales. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years in the IT industry with a focus on Value-Added Reselling (VAR), software, and IT solutions. This role will be responsible for identifying and closing new commercial business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and driving revenue growth through our comprehensive IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development - Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial sector. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects to achieve sales targets.
  • Client Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in target organizations. Understand client needs and provide tailored IT solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Sales Strategy - Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue goals. Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals and presentations that address client requirements.
  • Product Knowledge - Maintain a deep knowledge of the company’s IT solutions, software offerings, and VAR services. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape.
  • Contract Negotiation - Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and terms with clients, ensuring agreements align with company objectives and client expectations.
  • Account Management - Manage and grow existing client accounts by delivering exceptional service, identifying upsell opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting - Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to management. Track and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize strategies and achieve targets.
  • Collaboration - Work closely with internal teams, including operations, inside sales, marketing, and service delivery, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Sales Skills - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Industry Knowledge - Strong understanding of the IT industry, including software solutions, hardware, networking, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience - Minimum of 5 years of experience in outside sales with a focus on IT solutions, software, and VAR services within the commercial sector.
  • Client Focus - Ability to understand and address the unique needs of commercial clients, translating complex IT requirements into effective solutions.
  • Communication - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex IT solutions to diverse audiences.
  • Problem-Solving - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions to meet client needs.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field is preferred.
