Job description
Avid Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior React Developer to join a dynamic team responsible for developing a comprehensive new application. The selected candidate will design and build customized solutions using React, Next.js, and Node.js while collaborating with architects, technical leads, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain customized solutions using React, including coding, unit testing, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand complex business requirements and translate them into functional designs.
- Review proposed implementations, identify efficient designs, and estimate effort for tasks.
- Perform code reviews and ensure access and security profiles meet project requirements.
- Work with Delivery Architects and Technical Leads to support CI/CD deployment processes and optimize full-stack development.
- Provide clear written and verbal communication, including presentations to team members and stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience as an SME in enterprise-level developer projects.
- 4+ years of experience developing React applications.
- 2+ years of experience with Next.js and Node.js.
- 6+ years of experience in CI/CD deployment, testing, and full-stack development.
- Experience with cloud hosting solutions, including Azure or AWS (highly desired).
- Experience with TypeScript and RESTful API design (highly desired).
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships across all levels of personnel.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
